Level 3 Award In Emergency First Aid At Work (RQF)

The aim of this qualification is to support delegates in becoming emergency first aiders in the workplace. The content of the course meets the HSE requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations which have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs risk assessment.

The content of the course meets the HSE criteria for training first-aiders in those organisations which have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs risk assessment. 

Level 3 Award In Paediatric First Aid At Work (RQF)

L3 Award in Paediatric First Aid in the

This course is ideal for learners wishing to become paediatric first aiders in a workplace with the responsibility for the welfare of infants and children. The course is aligned with the paediatric first aid syllabus within the Early Years Foundation Stage and is valid for a period of three years after which delegates must retake the course. In addition, annual refresher training is strongly recommended.

This course is ideal for delegates wishing to gain the knowledge and skills required to administer effective emergency paediatric first aid. The qualification is valid for a period of three years after which point delegate must retake the course, additionally, annual refresher training is strongly recommended.

This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to take further training or to develop their knowledge and skills in basic life support. It is ideal for first-aiders in the workplace and is also suitable for schoolchildren, as recommended by The Resuscitation Council (UK).

This course introduces delegates to the principles and practice of safer manual handling and delegates are expected to undertake a range of manual handling activities during the course. This qualification has been developed to provide an introduction to the basics of moving and handling in the workplace. The content of this qualification has been written to meet guidance from the manual handling operations regulations.

The law states that employers have a legal responsibility to provide adequate training for those who perform manual handling tasks in their day-to-day role. This training intervention is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves manual handling.

Level 2 Award In The Principles Of Workplace Risk Assessment (RQF)

This accredited qualification is designed to introduce the principles of risk assessment. It covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to them and simple processes for carrying them out.

It is suitable for delegates working in any environment who need to be more risk aware by raising their knowledge of risk in the workplace and the basic steps they can take to control it.

This course is a trainer-led course that is delivered over one day.

Level 3 Award In Workplace Risk Assessment (RQF)

The Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification specifically designed for those who have a responsibility for conducting risk assessments in low risk environments, such as supervisors and site managers. The qualification is also suitable for those who significantly contribute towards the risk assessment process, such as team leaders and technicians.

Level 2 Award In The Principles Of COSHH (RQF)

This qualification is delivered over half of one day. The targeted audience is anyone who works with any substances which come under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations and is suitable to both new and experienced staff members.

Level 1 Award In Fire Awareness At Work (RQF)

This qualification is typically delivered over a half day.

It is intended for all employees and can be used as an induction to fire safety in the workplace or as a refresher course.

This qualification has been developed to provide an introduction to the basics of fire awareness in the workplace. The content has been written to meet accepted guidelines and in line with the Regulatory Fire Safety Order 2005 and the content and delivery can be tailored to the needs of the employer. For example, it may include undertaking a fire evacuation of personnel from the workplace. (Additional time may be required.)

This qualification is delivered over 1 day. It is intended for those undertaking the role of and with the responsibility of a fire marshal in a workplace. This qualification has been developed to provide an introduction to the key principles of good fire safety from the aspect of the fire marshal. The content has been written to meet accepted guidelines and in line with the Regulatory Fire Safety Order 2005 and the content and delivery can be tailored to the needs of the employer. For example, it may include undertaking a fire evacuation of personnel from the workplace. (Additional time may be required.)

Level 3 Award In Fire Risk Assessment  (RQF)

This is a qualification that indicates an individual can undertake a specific role in the workplace that may be relied upon by employers and consists of a total of twenty hours in duration of which twelve are guided learning hours. The remaining eight hours are set aside to enable delegates to complete a fire risk assessment in their workplace which shall be supported by a report detailing the recommended controls required. The assessment should consider the potential fire hazards within the property and forms the delegates portfolio of evidence.
